Believe In Me


No child should feel alone when they’re at risk, but it’s not always easy for adults to understand what they are going through. 

Using CGI wild animals as a metaphor, these ads bring some of a child’s worst struggles to life. More importantly: they highlight the potential to overcome them, with the right support from Barnardo’s expert counsellors.

We consciously kept the CGI animals looking as real and threatening as possible, to heighten the sense of jeopardy felt by our hero children.

We used a real crow for some shots, but ‘cast’ the hyenas and komodo dragon based on real traits observed in the wild. The VFX team then built them from the inside out, starting with the skeleton and adding muscles, scales/fur/feathers and movement.
