Teachers change the lives of their students daily.
But negative press was making potential applicants unsure of applying for teacher training. To nudge them over the line, we filmed real teachers interacting with their pupils in a live school, highlighting the very real difference they make each and every day.
It’s hard to go incognito at school with an entire film crew around, but we kept low to the ground with only the director and DOP in classes while my AD and I watched on monitors. We used the same setup for stills too. Landing us exactly the rich, natural shots we wanted, showing teachers at their very best.
