DR GIRAFFE
Using story to help children cope in times of illnessI came on board as the writer for this deeply personal project, to help Rejane Dal Bello develop physical proofs of concept to secure further funding.
Explaining illness to kids as a parent or carer is never easy. But when the situation arises, Dr Giraffe is here to help.
As the first book series that helps children cope with illness, Dr Giraffe books use simple rhyme and illustrations to explain childhood diseases – both common and rare – to young patients and their families.
